Local Rules - Dress Code
LOCAL RULES and OTHER INFORMATION - 2011
1.Out of Bounds: defined by white stakes, white lines, white stones or fences.
- Hole Kasteel 1: on or beyond the road.
- Hole Anker 8: on or beyond the white stones at the edge of the fairway of hole Anker 4 (*)
- Hole Anker 11: on or beyond the white stones at the edge of the fairway of hole Anker 1 (*)(*): the OOB line is determined by the nearest inside points of the white stones. These white stones are deemed to be immovable obstructions during play of Anker 1 and Anker 4.
2.Water Hazards: defined by yellow stakes.
Lateral Water Hazards: defined by red stakes.
Dropping zones near the green as an additional option:
Kasteel course: holes 2, 4, 6, 11.
Anker course: holes 6, 8, 9, 10, 13, 16.
Holes Kasteel 4 & 11: the water hazard on the left side is only defined on one side because the hazard is deemed to extend to infinity. All ground and water beyond the defined margin is in the hazard.
3.Abnormal ground conditions / Ground Under Repair:
Play prohibited : The player must take relief ( Rule 25-1 b ) without penalty-
Defined by blue stakes or white lines.
- Winter Greens.
Play optional : The player may take relief ( Rule 25-1 b ) without penalty
- Trough the green: new and old gravel or sand filled drainage ditches.
- In closely mown areas (cut to fairway height or less): deep ruts and damage by maintenance machinesPatches covered with gravel. Damage by crows If the ball lies on the putting green, interference also occurs if the damage intervenes on the line of putt.
4.Embedded ball through the green:
Through the green, a ball embedded in its own pitch-mark in the ground may be lifted,without penalty, cleaned and dropped as near as possible to where it lay but not nearer the hole.
5.Obstructions:
- All paths on the course are immovable obstructions ( Rule 24-2 )
- Staked trees: if such a tree interferes with a player’s stance or area of his intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 24-2 b.
Integral parts of the course:
- Hole Kasteel 5 : the wall behind the green.
- Hole Kasteel 8 : the walls on the left and right side of the hole.
- All areas covered with plastic sheets.
6.Distance-Measuring Devices:
For all play, except all junior competitions and all club championship competitions, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only.If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play ( e.g. gradient, windspeed, temperature, etc ) the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.

Penalty for breach of a local rule: Match Play: loss of hole / Stroke play: two strokes
OTHER INFORMATION:
Suspension of play due to a dangerous situation:
- One prolonged note of siren: discontinue play immediately.
- Two notes of siren: resume play.
- Three notes of siren, repeated: abandon play.
CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION:
- Time of starting:
If the player arrives at his starting point, ready to play, within 5 minutes after his starting time, in the absence of circumstances that warrant waiving the penalty of disqualification as provided in Rule 33-7, the penalty for failure to start on time is loss of the first hole to be played in Match Play or two strokes at the first hole in stroke play. Penalty for lateness beyond five minutes is disqualification. - Ties:
MP: A match that ends all square will be played off hole by hole until one side wins a hole. The play-off starts on the hole where the match began. In a handicap match, handicap strokes will be allowed as in the stipulated round.
STR/STB: In the event of a tie in a STB/STR competition; the winner shall be determined by matching score cards over the last 9 holes (10-18), if the tie still persists, over the last 6 (13-18) and if the tie still persists, the last 3 (16-18) and if necessary the last hole (18).In a handicap stroke play competition : one-half, one-third, one sixth…etc of the handicap will be deducted. - Mobile phones:Use of a mobile phone on the course – other than for emergency purposes ( danger, medical reason or to call the tournament office ) constitutes a breach of etiquette and is prohibited. The player is subject to disciplinary action. When his mobile phone rings during a competition, the player should switch off the phone immediately. If the phone rings a second time during the competition, a serious breach of etiquette has occurred and the player is disqualified (Rule 33-7).
- Club Handicaps: A player with a clubhandicap (37-54) plays his exact handicap in a competition marked Catg 4. He plays handicap 36 if marked R
RHC DRESSCODE GOLF OUDENAARDE:
Geachte leden en bezoekers, wij danken u een gepaste dress-code te respecteren, conform aan de tradities van de golfsport in het algemeen en aan de kwaliteit en het imago van onze golfclub in het bijzonder. DRESS CODE De toegang tot de golfbaan en het clubhuis kan geweigerd worden aan zowel spelers als niet-spelers die niet voldoen aan de kledingstandaard.
Op het TERREIN, en aansluitend op TERRAS en in CLUBHUIS:
- DAMES: geen laag uitgesneden shirts; geen spaghetti-bandjes.Korte of lange mouwen ofwel zonder mouw, bij voorkeur met kraag.Lange broek, Bermudabroek of Rok.Sokken verplicht: Lange sok, enkelsok of sokje net zichtbaar.
- HEREN: Kraag of opstaande hals verplicht. Lange of korte mouw.T-shirts zijn toegelaten voor jongeren beneden 18 jaar.Mouwloze of kraagloze shirt niet toegelaten.Lange broek of geklede Bermudabroek.(geen korte short, geen sportbroek of zwemkledij)Sokken verplicht: Lange of korte kousen ofwel enkelsok minimum 4 cm boven schoen.
- DAMES & HEREN: Op terrein zijn golfschoenen (enkel soft spikes) verplicht.Geen afgewassen of versleten kledij.Blue jeans afgeraden.Joggingpakken niet toegelaten.Pet en Hoed zijn niet toegelaten in het clubhuis.
- Tijdens de prijsuitreikingen:
stadskledij (tie & jacket) vanaf de leeftijd van 18 jaar.Bij prijsuitreikingen op terras (mooi weer): ‘Casual dressed-up’, maar geen golftenue. - RESTAURANT: stadskledij gewenst.
RHC januari 2011 Qualifying/Non-Qualifying
Qualifying wedstrijden :
In principe zijn alle single wedstrijden Qualifying op voorwaarde dat de baan in correcte staat is en de correcte lengte heeft (max 100 m korter).
Ook tijdens de "Preferred lies" periode, die in principe kan gaan van 01 november tot en met 30 april, kan er Q gespeeld worden.
Wanneer er buiten deze periode toch "Preferred Lies" gespeeld wordt is dit Non Qualifying.
Qualifying : hcp aanpassingen automatisch door het systeem
Non Qualifying : géén handicap-aanpassingen !
General Form :
De RHC kan handicaps tussen 4,5 tot en met 54 aanpassen als er voldoende redenen voorhand zijn die aantonen dat de speler een te lage of een te hoge hcp heeft.
Extra Day Score :
Iedere speler met hcp 4,5 tot en met 36, uitgebreid met onze clubhcp's 37 tot en met 54, kan kaarten spelen(EDS).
Voorwaarden :
-Baan dient Qualifying te zijn
-Registreren op het secretariaat voor aanvang
-Marker : amateurspeler max hcp 26,4 voor hcp's 4,5 tot 36
-Marker : amateurspeler max hcp 26,4 of Pro voor 37 tot en met 54
-Te spelen 18-holes op banen KBGF (Home club of andere banen)
-Clubhandicap's, ook 9-holes op banen KBGF (Home club of andere)
-Scorekaart correct invullen en ondertekenen (Speler en Marker)
-Stempel en handtekening secretariaat golfclub
-Voor hcp's 4,5 tot en met 36 : maximaal 5 kaarten per jaar.
Wedstrijden (ook Buitenlandse) andere dan de clubwedstrijden :
De RHC kan scorekaarten aanvaarden indien er onder Qualifying conditions gespeeld werd.
Extra Day Scores in buitenland gespeeld worden niet aanvaard
